According to PMI, Project Management Institute, there are six steps to develop a risk management plan: plan, identify, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, plan response and monitor risk.
What are the drawbacks of not having a risk management plan?
Not having risk management or poor risk management has the ability to severely impact your business. Whether that’s through a delay to project benefits impacting your revenue and profit streams, or unrealized benefits, overspent budgets, late-running project, client's dissatisfaction, reputational damage or project failure. Poor risk management is something you can’t afford.
